Welcome!

If you are looking for ways to enliven your outdoor living space, you have come to the right place!

Humans have had a detrimental effect on wildlife in the past century, and what we see in our yards today is just a small fraction of the biodiversity that was here before us. If we start taking steps to restore these native landscapes we can make a huge impact to the overall biodiversity of the areas we live in!

I will help you take your yard from a dead zone with little to no biodiversity, to a thriving outdoor space buzzing with wildlife activity.

Let’s work together to create your own Urban Haven.

About 5 years ago, I read a book called “The Soil Will Save Us” by Kristin Ohlson, and it completely changed my perspective on my role within the ecosystem, and how my actions impact the world around me. After reading “Nature’s Best Hope” by Doug Tallamy, I really started to look beyond myself and think of ways I could make a bigger impact. That’s when Urban Haven began.

I started this blog because I want to keep learning, teach others what I know, and have a bigger impact.
